Electric Vehicle (EV) Expert Pledge
The EV Expert Pledge is an initiative of the California New Motor Vehicle Board. This pledge for California new car dealerships contributes directly to the advancement of the California State Transportation Agency's (CalSTA) Core Four priorities of Safety, Equity, Climate Action and Economic Prosperity.
Launched in May 2025, it supports the ZEV transition in California by encouraging the use of industry best practices in motor vehicle sales activities.
Our goal is to have multiple EV Expert Pledge signatory dealers across the 13 Regions as defined by the Governor's Office of Business and Economic Development (GO-Biz), allowing all Californians access to knowledgeable and committed EV Experts at California new car dealerships.
We look forward to recognizing your commitment to best practices by having one or more dealership staff trained as an EV Expert and local resource for your customers.
