Shirley Jones, Dealer Member, was appointed to the Board in August 2025 by Governor Gavin Newsom. Jones is Chief Financial Officer of Car Pros Automotive Group, a leading dealership group with operations across Washington and Southern California. She has more than two decades of experience in the automotive industry and is recognized for her financial expertise, transformational leadership, and commitment to ethical excellence.
At Car Pros, Jones has advanced transparency and accountability while overseeing significant organizational growth. She also spearheaded and directs Car Pros Cares, the company’s philanthropic arm dedicated to community engagement and service.
In addition to her corporate responsibilities, Jones is a Chair Member of the NCM 20 Group and a mentor with UCLA’s Pathway to Guidance Program. She is the recipient of the “Women Paving the Way” award from CDK Global, and an Auto Remarketing "Women in Retail" award. An industry thought leader, her commentary has appeared in automotive publications including Automotive News, Auto Finance News, and CBT News. Guided by the principles of Connect, Grow, and Serve, she provides strategic insight and value-driven leadership to the Car Pros organization, and by extension, the automotive industry as well as the communities she represents.
Shirley Jones earned her Bachelor of Arts in Public Administration with an emphasis in Finance from California State University, Dominguez Hills.
Her term expires on January 15, 2029.
